Our Story
THE, The Hirst Experience, is a family-owned business that was founded under the holding company of Textech Cape which began in 1998. Founded by Mark Hirst, Textech Cape originally started out selling textile machinery in SA, with the vision of one day working alongside his 4 children. In 2010, the business diversified into the textile manufacturing sector, servicing the local yarn twisting and package-dye preparation market, this is when his eldest son Jéan joined the company. After studying, training and qualifying, many learning curves and hard work, he too has made a name for himself within the textile industry in SA.
